My name is Nancy Pribble and I'd like
to welcome you to the internet home of
the Heida Cattery where I raise exotic shorthair cats.
Our "other" home is nestled amidst the trees, on 43 acres of
peaceful, rolling hills in central Virginia. I have been breeding
and showing cats since 1981. The first 15 years in the cat fancy,
my chosen breed was Persians. When the time came for me to choose
a cattery name, I wanted "Heidi". However Heidi was spoken for,
so I changed the "i" to an "a"... and I created the name Heida.
In 1996, Exotics became my passion... and I began to refer to the
"kids" as "Heidazots" although my formal cattery remains Heida.
I enjoy thinking of distinctive names for my Heida kittens. My
favorite choices are often song titles.
I maintain a small breeding program of one male and two or three
females who all have free roam of my home and a couple of alters just
because I love them and cannot part with them.
In my "spare" time :-), I work part-time at a very busy five
doctor veterinary hospital.
I hope you enjoy visiting the Heidazots website and please stop
by frequently. |
